SF Cusum stands for Slump Flow Cumulative Sum. SF Cusum is a relatively new concept of quality control in concrete production according to EN 206.
Slump flow cusum has applications in enhancing the robustness of the flow properties of self compacting concrete (SCC).
SFCusum App is a mobile app technology developed by Prince Charles Osei of Alster Limited, Accra, Ghana with the help of Wolfram Schmidt and Hans-Carsten Kühne of the Division for “Technology of Construction Materials”, Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und –prüfung (BAM), Berlin, Germany.
SFCusum has been designed and developed to help engineers to determine the robustness of fresh concrete rheology direclty on the field before concrete is case.
The mobile app technology will help engineers to know the optimum mix designs for various materials used for a desired robustness and rheology.
Engineers will also be able to know of more or less cement should be added to the concrete mix to reach optimum robustness in real time.
